Tongue Ties

Dr. Joanna Lamberts performs frenectomies, otherwise known as cutting of tongue ties. This procedure can be useful with some newborns to improve latch with breastfeeding. Dr. Lamberts works closely with midwives and lactation consultants to provide full service care to these babies and parents as we believe that tongue ties are one of multiple issues that can impact success in breastfeeding.
